My neighborhood

I live in a house on X. Q. A. Street. There are ten rooms. There are a few restaurants and gyms in my neighborhood. There's a lot of noise because my neighbor listen to music all day. Also there's a lot of pollution because there's one avenue near my house.

What kind of music does your neighbor listen to? "Sertanejo"?

He has listened to Hip Hop. Argh! These days he's arrested.

[or]

He used to listen to Hip Hop. Argh! These days he's arrested.

[Qual dos dois tá certo? Ou nenhum? rsrs. Por que eu sempre tenho dúvidas e não sei escrever? Rs.]

Well, well. If now he's arrested, then he's listened to Hip Hop (argh! too).

If he used to do a thing, now he's doing something else.

Or

He used to do a thing, but now he's doing something opposed to what he used to do.

You may use "used to" when you want to say that meaning above.

What does your teacher say about this question?

Kiss you, now!
